Welcome to The Bronx Community Events Bulletin Board at events.thebronx.vote. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of this website, operated by Logistics ORM & Marketing & Logistics Consulting Services ("we," "us," or "our") and created by Marcelo Lopez.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using this website, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please stop using the website. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle information collected through the board.

2. Use of the Website and Accounts

Use the website only for lawful purposes and in ways that respect other people's rights and ability to use it. Public event listings can be viewed without registration. Submitting and managing events requires an authorized member or administrator account.

If you have an account, keep your credentials confidential, provide accurate information, and notify us of suspected unauthorized access. We may restrict or suspend access for misuse, security concerns, or violations of these Terms.

3. Event Submissions and Moderation

You are responsible for the accuracy and legality of your submissions and for having permission to publish any flyers, images, descriptions, names, and contact details you provide. Do not submit private information without authorization, misleading listings, discriminatory or harassing content, or material that infringes another person's rights.

Submissions are subject to review. We may edit, decline, remove, flag, or archive listings to maintain the board. Submission does not guarantee publication, promotion, or continued availability. Contact an administrator if a listing needs correction or removal.

4. Events, RSVPs, and External Services

This website provides community event information. Event organizers are responsible for their own events, admission requirements, accessibility arrangements, cancellations, safety, and registration practices. Verify current details directly with the organizer. Publication, highlighting, or an urgent flag does not constitute our endorsement or a guarantee about an event.

An RSVP sent through the board notifies the listed event contact; it does not guarantee a ticket, admission, or a reserved place. External registration links, donations, social media, maps, and calendar services are governed by the relevant provider's terms. We do not control those services or their content.

5. Prohibited Uses

You may not use this website or its content for:

• Scraping: Extracting or compiling website data, text, or images without express written permission, except through the calendar downloads and sharing features we provide for their intended personal use.
• AI training: Using website content to train, fine-tune, or develop artificial intelligence models or machine learning algorithms without express written permission from the relevant rights holder.
• Spamming: Using published contact information for unauthorized marketing, solicitation, or bulk messaging.
• Abuse or unlawful activity: Attempting unauthorized access, bypassing security or rate limits, disrupting the service, distributing malicious content, impersonating others, or violating applicable local, state, or federal law.

6. Intellectual Property

Website content, design, graphics, and logos belong to Logistics ORM & Marketing & Logistics Consulting Services or their respective owners and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Event submitters and other content suppliers retain ownership of their original materials.

By submitting an event or flyer, you grant us permission to host, format, display, and distribute that material as needed to operate and promote the board, including public listings and calendar entries. You confirm that you have the rights needed to grant that permission. Other uses of protected material require permission from its owner.

7. Email Updates

Signing up for email updates is optional. Use an email address you control. You can request removal from email updates by contacting us at the address below. An event submission or RSVP does not itself enroll you in email updates.

8. Availability and Limitation of Liability

The website and its listings are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted service, error-free content, event availability, or delivery of an RSVP or calendar update.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Logistics ORM & Marketing & Logistics Consulting Services and the website's creator will not be liable for damages arising from use of, inability to use, or reliance on the website, its listings, or linked services. Nothing in these Terms excludes rights or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to its conflict of law provisions, subject to any mandatory protections that apply to you.
